Your role and responsibilities

Davies Veterinary Specialists is currently recruiting for a full time Client Finance Administrator that reports to the Finance Manager to assist in the day to day running of our busy referral centre.

You must be able to work as a team as well as independently supporting our clients, patients, and clinical teams in our busy practice. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require teamwork and dedication.

Key roles include:

  • Reconciliation of Daily Takings.
  • Billing and Finance support, covering sales, charges and payments.
  • Assessing and submitting Insurance Claims in a timely manner along with
  • Reviewing accounts and clinical history to assist our clients who require a direct claim. 
  • Assisting clients with general finance and insurance queries including guiding policyholders on how to proceed with the insurance claim and keeping them always informed, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate payment of insurance shortfalls along with excess and co-payment liabilities. 
  • Credit control for outstanding payments, Insurance shortfalls and Payments direct from Insurers.
  • Telephone and face to face discussions with our clients.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. Saturday working on rota basis (Approximately 1 in 6-8 weeks).

This position is with a start date of December 2024/January 2025

Salary Value: £25,000;
