You will be joining a strong and mission driven team, working to build a customer facing product that fundamentally changes the way insurers evaluate risk, enabling them to move from highly manual workflows to digital risk flows.

Cytora’s Risk Stream is a serverless and cloud native SaaS platform that automates the digitisation, evaluation and decisioning of risks for commercial insurers. Our product drastically improves the working lives of our users, enables our customers to cover more risks, more competitively.

Who are we looking for?

As a Senior Front End Engineer at Cytora, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product. Working closely with UX designers, engineers, and product managers, you will contribute to building powerful solutions that empower our clients to harness the potential of our diverse product APIs.

Your responsibilities will extend to providing valuable feedback to product managers, influencing product roadmaps, and collaborating with our product designer function to establish best practices.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate within an Agile team to develop and maintain JavaScript production-grade web applications.

• Utilize your expertise in JavaScript frameworks and libraries, particularly React, Typescript, and Redux, to create seamless user experiences.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of agile fundamentals, contributing to an efficient and collaborative development process.

• Work with APIs and services to integrate and optimize functionality.

Skills required to be successful

• Significant experience building and maintaining full-stack JavaScript production-grade web applications.

• Commercial experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

• Strong working knowledge of agile fundamentals and frameworks.

• A team player who can work with various people across the business as well as being comfortable with autonomy

• Experience working with APIs and services.

• Ability to contribute autonomously to the product with several years of hands-on experience building software products.

• Be able to think outside the box by being part of the product design and development

Nice to Have:

• Experience in UX/UI design to enhance user interactions and experiences.

• Start-up experience: Proven ability to rapidly build and deliver working products.
