Role - Senior Associate - MENA Desk
Location - London/Hybrid
We are seeking a Senior Associate to contribute and elevate Dragonfly's coverage of the MENA region, which is integral to the production and delivery of client-ready SIAS work.
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team at Dragonfly, a Dow Jones company, is responsible for delivering high-quality regional analysis through our Security Intelligence and Analysis Service (SIAS). This service provides anticipatory security and strategic intelligence to global businesses and international organisations. The MENA team consists of three analysts based in London and works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, actionable insight.
Produce and deliver high-quality, client-ready security intelligence and political risk analysis for the MENA region
Guide and mentor junior analysts, providing direction and peer review support
Lead analytical or commercial initiatives, contributing to business growth and client satisfaction
Significant experience in political risk, security intelligence, or regional affairs related to the Middle East and North Africa
Demonstrated ability to produce written assessments, briefings, and project work to deadline and a client-ready standard
Strong research skills, including open-source investigation and familiarity with data-driven analysis tools
Experience guiding junior analysts or teams in a collaborative environment
Regional language skills or first-hand professional experience in MENA is a plus
Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or ArcGIS is desirable
