What this role is all about

The Senior Compliance Specialist plays a vital role in safeguarding Infobip’s commitment to regulatory excellence and ethical business practices. By expertly supporting compliance operations, managing risk assessments, and facilitating collaboration across departments, this role drives the continuous enhancement of our compliance program. Ultimately, it helps embed a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization, protecting our reputation and enabling sustainable growth. 

What you'll do

  • Monitor and analyze changes in relevant laws, regulations, and best practices; provide timely advice and implement necessary compliance enhancements. 
  • Interpret and apply sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and other regulatory requirements effectively across the business. 
  • Administer compliance requests and reports, along with other general inquiries related to different Infobip entities and locations.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve compliance documentation, internal reports, and procedures. 
  • Identify compliance risks within business operations, with a special focus on third-party risk management, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding international operations.
  • Support Compliance Managers in implementing compliance programs, policies, and other activities. 
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide expert guidance on diverse compliance matters.  
  • Participate in activities to create risk awareness within the organization. 
  • Track and develop relationships with outsourced advisors.
  • Manage and monitor the maintenance of existing data and compliance tools. 
  • Review compliance tools and procedures and drive improvements of the same. 
  • Test compliance related procedures, define remediation and monitor improvements. 
  • Conduct additional data analytics as directed by the Compliance Manager. 
  • Provide backup support to Compliance team members on projects and tasks. 
  • Ensure proper storage and documentation of all Compliance information. 
  • Serve as the point of contact on compliance matters for the business. 
  • Share knowledge and support more junior team members.

What makes you a strong fit

  • You have bachelor’s degree in law.
  • You have a solid understanding of compliance system, compliance program and risk identification.
  • Ideally you have practical knowledge of Anti Bribery and Corruption principles, sanctions regulation and other Compliance related areas.
  • Experience of strong familiarity with Third-Party Risk management and Due Diligence process is highly desirable.
  • You have a full professional proficiency in English.
  • You have a developed passion for technology, for studying and researching different legislation.
  • You have excellent organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
  • You are solution oriented.
  • You have interdisciplinary approach to tasks and manage tasks effectively.
  • You love setting up and driving development processes.
  • You are quick learner, and you have a strong sense of initiative.
