We are looking for a Credit and Collection Specialist to join our team! This role offers the unique opportunity to combine credit risk assessment and collection responsibilities with a focus on applying customer payments. By managing the entire process—from payment posting to reaching out to customers regarding overdue accounts — you will take full ownership and ensure a seamless workflow.
Posting and clearing customer payments, including complex, partial and adjusted payments
Managing cash receipts accurately and on time, resolving cash application issues and reviewing customer statements
Managing credit blocks on orders, customer activation
Analyzing customer credit reports, assessing creditworthiness, and making recommendations on credit limits.
Contacting customers to collect outstanding balances, resolving disputes, and negotiating payment plans,
Coordinating collection, credit limit change etc. for top customers
Executing month-end all procedures and reporting alignment with process requirements and deadlines.
Preparing reports on accounts receivable balances, collection activities, and other metrics related to credit and collections.
Assisting in the establishment and implementation of credit and collections policies to maximize sales, improve collections of customer accounts receivables and reduce outstanding aged accounts receivable balances
English proficiency at a minimum B2+/C1 level
Advanced knowledge of German is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP will be considered a strong asset
At least 2 years of experience in credit assessment and/or AR, Finance
Bachelor/master’s degree in finance is preferred but not a requirement
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (minimum requirement), Power BI is an advantage
Problem solving approach, excellent communication skills, attention to details
Proactiveness and willingness to participate in projects and process improvement
Salary range from 9 500 to 13 000 PLN gross – depending on experience
