Senior Compliance Manager – (Shanghai) manages proactive compliance programs and initiatives, and provides compliance related advice and support to China Region. Responsibilities focused on compliance training and other key compliance initiatives.
- Work in BU Compliance team to provide compliance related strategic support to Pfizer China bio-pharmaceutical business;
- Coordinate with Legal / Finance / Medical / Risk Control and other key stakeholders on enhancing compliance awareness and implementation of various processes and procedures required by company policy;
- Manage and oversee overall compliance training practice, including regular and prompt arrangement initiated by Compliance, and ad hoc training needs raised by business or other stakeholders;
- Manage the training schedule, allocate and deploy resources to execute the training plan and promptly respond to other training requests, ensuring all training sessions being carried out with appropriate content and logistics arrangement;
- Contribute to compliance training content development (including design case studies) ; Centrally coordinate content development process and its continuous optimization
- Ensure the quality of related training practice, monitor and assess the effectiveness of training, seek feedback, and provide analysis report periodically;
- Enhance compliance awareness of field force; Partner with field force managers in the covered provinces in driving compliance training and awareness;
- Provide guidance and advisory day to day to internal customers (at all levels of the sales marketing organization) within the region on issues related to compliance and company SOP;
- Conduct in person training and education sessions on compliance and company procedures in regional offices and in nearby provinces and cities;
- Partner with Internal Control, Satellite Team, CCRs and other internal stakeholder teams in the regions to provide compliance support to field force operations, and contribute to China compliance risk assessment;
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of field force compliance challenges to managers and initiate / facilitate issue resolution;
- Provide guidance/advice to junior compliance officers, inspire them to continually broaden knowledge base and improve training skills.
- Provide other compliance support to field force and other functions as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University / Post Graduate Degree in law, medicine, finance or other relevant professional disciplines;
- Above 8 years (for Master Degree holder and above, minimum 6 years) working experience in multinational company compliance, legal, finance field; marketing or sales experience a plus;
- Familiarity with multinational corporate compliance culture; knowledge in PRC anti-bribery laws and regulations a plus;
- Flexibility for local and regional (inter-province) Travel (Travel Rate: 20-50%).
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry;
- Solid knowledge of compliance policies and practice in pharmaceutical industry;
- Excellent writing and oral communication in both Chinese and English, strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills, excellent skills in Excel / Word / PPT;
- Strong interpersonal and communication soft skills, and training delivery capabilities;
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and coaching skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to resolve complex matters in a responsive way.
