Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a District Sales Manager to join our Respiratory Team. This role is hybrid and reports directly to the National Sales Director. This position covers the Ontario East territory, and the ideal candidate will reside in or near the territory.
As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a team of sales professionals to achieve business goals and deliver meaningful impact in the healthcare industry. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to drive success in your district, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and other internal partners, to support GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

Develop and lead a high-performing team to execute district business plans and meet regional and national objectives.
Recruit, hire, train, and retain talented sales representatives, supporting their professional growth and development.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with business strategies.
Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Ensure effective communication of marketing strategies and product information to the team and customers.
Manage resources and budgets to maximize impact and return on investment.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sales
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including performance management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the district as required
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading teams in a complex healthcare environment
Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to a changing business landscape
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans
Experience in coaching and mentoring sales professionals
Demonstrated ability to navigate internal processes and collaborate across functions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify unique sales opportunities
