We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic, high performing advertising team! You will play a fundamental role by delivering on ambitious advertising revenue targets for non-Endemic accounts across EMEA (eg. Tourism boards, non-travel brands). Working with media agencies and brands directly, you will act as an ambassador for KAYAK selling across all our brands, media and content products for your market. This role will suit a hard working Sales Manager with a strong track record of outstanding performance and exceeding sales goals.

Note, this is a 12-month parental leave contract.

In this role, you will:

  • Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy alongside building a pipeline of prospects for your segments
  • Consultative Selling: Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape and industry trends, have a deep understanding of each of our advertising & creative solutions products, our audience and wider core business to effectively build proposals and pitch our advertising solutions to clients
  • Revenue growth: Ambitiously seek to deliver incremental revenue from existing partners as well as pursue and close new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and cross-sell!
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships with our direct clients and media agencies, understanding their needs as well as ensuring all return on investment targets are exceeded. Leverage commercial expertise to deepen the relationship and embed the KAYAK offering into client media plans
  • Analytical Leadership: Demonstrate a high level of analytical skill to be able to deliver well thought out campaign optimisations that achieve client business goals while partnering with the Client Success team
  • Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams including Client Success, our in-house Content Production team, Ad Operations, Business strategy, Analytics and the wider commercial org

Please apply if you have:

  • 5+ experience in an advertising sales role or as a media planner/buyer at a media agency
  • A deep network of client and agency contacts, preferably travel and destination brands
  • An outstanding understanding of the online media landscape
  • Previous experience selling creative solutions is a bonus (eg. Social media campaigns, microsite & content production)
  • Strong prospecting and excellent closing ability
  • First class presenting ability to tell a story and exert influence both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of and experience working with Salesforce is an advantage
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail
