DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Our Associate Programs offer new graduates the opportunity to work in one of TD's many lines of business, and the chance to work on challenging projects and assignments, alongside experienced colleagues, and receive coaching and mentorship from business leaders and the Early Talent Experience team, to set you up for success in your career at TD.

Associate Role Profile: 1-year in-depth experience, complemented by programming, coaching, tools and support.

As an Associate, you will also have access to programming, tools and a community of support for your pursuits and interests beyond the 9-5. This includes leadership talks, lunch and learns, self-development workshops, TD sponsored conferences, socials, team challenges, volunteer opportunities, career coaching and more. You will be part of a cohort along with other TD Associates from across Canada!

JOB DESCRIPTION

The AI2 Associate Program is a 1-year enhanced development opportunity in analytics insights and AI. The Business Intelligence Associate will perform a variety of activities, which may include:

  • Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction
  • Develop and maintain specialized reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data from various systems including localized data-marts on Azure Cloud as well as other sources like: SQL Server, HOST/Mainframe Systems, Enterprise Data Warehouse(s) on DB2, and external data sources utilizing D&A reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, MS Power BI, Python, etc.) 
  • Manage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to development scripts and objects, documentation, etc.
  • Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards
  • Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in all reporting
  • Lead project and partner discussions to understand business requirements and associated value in support of overall business/function strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be graduated between May 2024 and May 2026 with an Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, and/or Data Analytics or related.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills and interest are an asset.
  • Experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs.
  • Experience with telling a story through data visualization
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with one or more of: Python, SQL, Tableau, MS Power BI, PySpark, Alteryx, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Bitbucket 
  • Technical knowledge or experience with Azure Cloud is an asset. 
  • Must have strong leadership qualities including demonstrating initiative, establishing priorities and using strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each initiative, project or team assigned to.
  • Must have the capability to dive into a business issue, understand the route cause and to help partners to understand how to leverage data to tell a story that will solve for the issue

Profil du poste d’associé : Nos associés sont des collègues à temps plein qui participent à un programme de rotation de 18 mois (deux rotations de neuf mois) pour s’exposer à des occasions et à divers secteurs d’activité au sein de l’équipe Analyse, Idées et Intelligence artificielle (AI.IA) pour obtenir une expérience approfondie, complétée par des programmes, du coaching, des outils et du soutien.

En tant qu’associé, vous aurez également accès à des programmes, à des outils et à une communauté de soutien pour vos activités et vos intérêts au-delà de la période de travail de 9 h à 17 h. Cela comprend des discussions de leadership, des dîners-causeries, des ateliers d’autoperfectionnement, des conférences parrainées par la TD, des activités sociales, des défis d’équipe, des occasions de bénévolat, du coaching professionnel et plus encore. Vous ferez partie d’un groupe avec d’autres associés de la TD de partout au Canada!

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

L’associé, Veille stratégique prendra part à différentes activités, dont les suivantes :

  • Développer et comprendre les facteurs opérationnels, les définitions et les indicateurs pour interpréter les résultats, prendre des mesures et fournir une orientation stratégique pertinente.
  • Élaborer et tenir à jour des trousses de rapports et des tableaux de bord spécialisés à partir de données provenant de divers systèmes, y compris des minientrepôts de données localisés dans Azure Cloud, ainsi que d’autres sources, comme SQL Server, des systèmes hôte/ordinateur central, les entrepôts de données de l’entreprise sur DB2 et des sources de données externes. Cela se fera au moyen des outils de production de rapports de Données et Analyses : SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, MS Power BI, Python, etc. 
  • Gérer le référentiel de tous les actifs de production de rapports, y compris, sans s’y limiter, les scripts et objets de développement, la documentation, etc.
  • Adopter, mettre en œuvre et faire évoluer efficacement les normes d’automatisation des rapports.
  • Valider la qualité et l’intégrité des données figurant dans l’ensemble des rapports.
  • Diriger les discussions sur les projets et avec les partenaires afin de comprendre les exigences opérationnelles et la valeur associée à l’appui de la stratégie globale de l’unité ou de la fonction.

EXIGENCES DU POSTE

  • Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle en administration des affaires, en gestion, en informatique, en analyse des données ou dans un domaine connexe, obtenu entre mai 2024 et mai 2026.
  • De solides compétences en statistique et en analyse ainsi qu’un intérêt pour ces domaines sont un atout.
  • Expérience en analyse de grands ensembles de données pour en dégager des tendances et des conclusions, et en communication des résultats.
  • Expérience dans la narration d’histoires au moyen de la visualisation des données.
  • Solides connaissances techniques et expérience dans au moins un des éléments suivants : Python, SQL, Tableau, MS Power BI, PySpark, Alteryx, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Bitbucket. 
  • Des connaissances techniques ou une expérience avec Azure Cloud sont un atout. 
  • Solides aptitudes de leadership, comme la capacité à faire preuve d’initiative et à établir des priorités; et sens poussé de la communication, compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes permettant d’ajouter de la valeur à chaque mandat (initiative, projet, équipe).
  • Capacité à analyser un problème d’affaires, à en comprendre la cause profonde et à aider les partenaires à utiliser les données pour raconter une histoire permettant de résoudre le problème.
