What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as a trusted HR business partner to plant leadership, aligning workforce strategies with operational and business objectives

  • Provide oversight of HR practices within a unionized manufacturing environment, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of the CBA

  • Lead employee and labor relations activities, including grievance management, investigations, and corrective action, with sound judgment and risk awareness

  • Drive talent management and workforce planning efforts, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development for hourly and salaried populations

  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, policies, and recordkeeping requirements

  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, safety, and leadership to foster a high‑performing, engaged, and safety‑focused workforce

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven experience in Human Resources or related field, preferably in a union, manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases, Workday preferred. Solid MS Office skills.

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Work Environment

  • This position is in a manufacturing location and is an on-site position.
