A Software Developer – Trainee will learn and become responsible of the development practices during the development phases of pre-production, user acceptance and production.
The selected candidate will collaborate with all stakeholders and take responsibility for building high quality, functionally performing software in accordance to the available documentation of the project (business requirements, functional specification, solution document, etc) for DevFactory Trading. For this, we are looking for someone technically qualified in an IT environment, through their studies or previous work experience, proactive and eager to learn our ways of working while contributing to their continuous improvement.
This position may require traveling to other locations, as such France.
Key Accountabilities
As Software developer – Trainee, you will:
· Learn the way software development is implemented at Euronext and be a contributor for its improvements by writing well designed and testable code;
· Review functional specification together with other stakeholders;
· Understand the technical documentation (such as the Solution document) and contribute of its completion;
· Contribute for maintaining our coding guidelines and actively following them;
· Automate test cases (nice to have);
· Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems;
· Implement tools to support the development and maintenance of the trading solution;
· Comply with project plans;
· Escalate any topic that might block the day to day work;
· Be part of the team: the project team and the development team cross location.
Profile and Skills
Education and Knowledge
· BS/MS degree or similar in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience; - IEFP Level VI
· Agile certification (nice to have);
· English (B2 or higher level).
Euronext is looking at the following profile:
· Basic knowledge on different tools: Git, ServiceNow, Redmine;
· Proficient working with Linux (bash, shell, etc.);
· Good knowledge of C, C++, Python ;
· Level of seniority: trainee.
