Who We Are

Caterpillar’s PSLD Middle East Distribution Centre is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences through top-tier distribution performance. The mission is to empower Cat® dealers and customers with unmatched parts availability, logistics agility, and operational reliability.

Role Overview

The Senior Team Leader supports leadership in executing daily operations, supervising shifts, and reporting performance across logistics functions. The role involves driving compliance, continuous improvement, and acting as a bridge between frontline teams and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate teams to meet daily goals in safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
• Implement standards for productivity, quality, and service.
• Resolve workflow issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Train and onboard team members in standard work processes.
• Use Continuous Improvement (CI) methods to enhance quality and safety.
• Contribute performance data to strategic planning.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Resolve daily operational issues (e.g., inventory discrepancies).
• Promote an inclusive and engaging safety culture.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2–5 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or transportation.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Flexibility to work extra hours and multi-shift patterns.

Skills Required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Emotional intelligence and empathy in handling relationships.
• Self-motivated and capable of motivating teams.
• Decision-making aligned with company values.
• Analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems, and digital inventory/order tracking systems.

Additional Information:

• This is an onsite role, 5 days a week.
