The Asset Management Clerk, working under the direction of their Direct Supervisor, will be responsible for the incoming and outgoing assets stored at the Vault. They will be responsible for the picking, packing, and shipping of assets requested from the Vault. They will also be responsible for the returning of assets to their storage containers when they are returned to the Vault. Another responsibility will be the data entry and scanning of assets as required.
What you'll do:
- Accurately pick requests in a timely manner
- Ensure proper packing of assets being shipped
- Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists and carrier bill
- Put away all processed or returned assets in a timely manner
- Assist in unloading/loading all trucks coming to the Vault
- Sign receiving bills, noting damages or exceptions
- Stage “new” items needing input into the Vault inventory system
- Quality assurance of item status’ in Vault system
- Maintain and update approved borrower list (with Vault Management)
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with approved borrowers
- Maintain shipping supplies (i.e., boxes, bubble wrap, tape)
- Provide research of assets for other Sony Music Business Units and approved borrowers when approved by Vault Management
- Complete accurate data entry, cataloging of Sony Music assets as needed
- Repair asset packaging or replace as necessary, wipe clean
- Place barcodes in areas ensuring no pertinent information is concealed
- Place items in consecutive order within the storage container, barcode facing up
- Perform storage container (Carton) quantity verification
- Perform all job functions in an organized and efficient manner, using time effectively, accomplishing tasks or objectives in a timely, safe manner.
- Comply with all Sony Music Entertainment policies and procedures, including safety and security.
- Report any problems to the Vault management in a professional and timely manner.
Who you are:
- Positive and effective communication skills.
- Computer and/or data collection systems experience (specific vault software training will be provided at the Sony Music Vault)
- Able to lift packages weighing up to 100 lbs.
