Head Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are looking for a Head PTA to join our team.

In addition to the duties required of a PTA, the Head PTA is also responsible for managing the schedule based on pharmacy needs. They must also implement the protocols required by the OPQ and maintain the appropriate standards. They are also in charge of training new employees, and hiring with the pharmacist-owner.

The candidate must have a short- to long-term vision for the management of the pharmacy in collaboration with the pharmacist-owner. They must be able to maintain a conducive work environment and appropriate customer service.

Management experience is an asset, as is experience as a PTA.

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy
  • Experience as a pharmacy technical assistant
  • Familiarity with Assyst-Rx software
