Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide L1–L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Summary:
As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will engage in the ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve addressing technical issues, providing solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of Windows platforms across both physical and virtual server environments. You will work both remotely and onsite within a defined operating model and processes, ensuring that hardware and software operate efficiently. Your role will include troubleshooting system issues, performing updates, and maintaining overall server stability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform operational support activities.
- Responsible for team decisions related to Windows infrastructure operations.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Provide solutions to work-related problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Perform server patching across production and non-production environments.
- Provision and configure new Windows servers on both physical and virtual platforms.
- Manage vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct performance and health monitoring of Windows systems.
- Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with application teams and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Experience managing Windows servers across Physical and Virtual environments.
- Strong understanding of server configuration and lifecycle management.
- Experience with vulnerability management and patch compliance.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
