As Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead our Performance Engineering and Service Virtualization team. Job responsibilities will include:

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the entire performance testing/engineering lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and implement performance testing strategies and best practices to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend effective solutions.
• Utilize performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner) to simulate user loads and monitor system performance.
• Hands on in any of the monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk)
• Manage the service virtualization group which is responsible for implementing solutions to simulate services and components for testing purposes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain virtual services that accurately mimic real-world scenarios.
• Ensure the availability and accuracy of virtualized services for both testing and development teams.
• Develop and maintain test data management strategies to ensure the availability of high-quality test data.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and usage of test data across various testing environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data privacy and security compliance.
• Manage and maintain test environments to support various testing activities.
• Ensure the availability, stability, and consistency of test environments.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
• Provide regular feedback and performance reviews to help team members grow in their roles.

Role Requirements:

• 12+ years of IT leadership and management experience in QA.
• Proven experience in performance testing and engineering, with a deep understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong experience in service virtualization and related tools.
• Familiarity with test data management and test environment management practices.
• ITIL certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
