What You’ll Get to Do

QA Analyst / Application Tester will play a vital role in the modernization of a complex web based workflow application by understanding the functionality, planning the test activity, developing test cases, and assuring the enhanced application meets the specifications. This includes coordinating with Business Analysts, System Architect, Business Leads, and other testers to gather information on the solution characteristics and optimize the testing process.

More About the Role

  • Learn the current application, develop application insight, and apply the knowledge in developing test plans, test cases and test data.

  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of the test plan.

  • Document test cases in TestRail.

  • Participate in integrated testing activities in liaison with Test Team Lead and other project team members.

  • Participate in daily scrum and provide updates on assigned tasks.

  • Execute test cases and capture test results. Document testing defects in Jira and demonstrate observations made during the testing.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of application testing and quality assurance in an Agile environment.

  • Experience in using Agile tools such as Jira, TestRail, Confluence etc. in carrying out test activities.

  • Experience in writing concise Test plans, Test cases and the ability to capture test results and defects.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Excellent Communication Skills.

  • Experience in working distributed team environment.

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Status is preferred.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience in using Automated Testing tools.

  • Knowledge of 508 compliance and accessibility tools.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$52,300-$107,200
