This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. We work as one team and support each other in delivering high-quality financial processes. We are looking for a person who will support our Controlling team in daily financial reporting, analysis, and month-end activities. This role involves close cooperation with various departments, preparing financial data, and contributing to the accuracy of our financial results. We are seeking someone proactive, well-organized, and eager to grow within a finance environment.
YOUR ROLE
• Support month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports
• Prepare cost analyses, variance reports, and regular financial summaries
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather data for forecasts and budgets
• Prepare and post basic journal entries
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial documentation
• Support preparation of monthly forecasts, yearly budgets, and ad-hoc analyses
• Participate in monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist during internal and external audits
YOUR BACKGROUND
• 3+ years of experience in Finance / Controlling / Accounting
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Good command of English
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to work with data
• Self-driven, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and good Excel skills; Anaplan is a plus
• Experience and knowledge of Polish accounting principles and controlling practices
