Bringing that feel-good energy.

We're the newest face amongst the E.ON group of companies. E.ON Next is all about creating a sustainable future, now. We're moving our energy in the right direction, one little big step at a time. Join us in our mission to bring feel-good energy.

We’re also here to make this whole energy thing way easier for our customers. Like, really easy. That means providing exceptional service and using state-of-the-art tech to do it.

We’re looking for a talented Technical Product Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Residential New Build strategy, driving the Product Roadmap and helping us solidify our position as a leader in the low-carbon energy market.

As a Technical Product Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert on the needs of developers navigating the low carbon transition. You’ll advise on the suite of technologies E.ON can deploy for new build homes, working across the market to inform our build, buy, or partner decisions. You’ll be instrumental in identifying synergies across our product portfolio, driving the development of effective propositions, and leading our understanding of market dynamics. Your insights will shape our strategic direction, enhance our sales pipeline, and improve market access.

You will also manage complex product portfolios, create investment proposals, and lead virtual teams to ensure excellent customer experiences throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you’ll be a key advisor to senior leadership, presenting, reporting, and making recommendations that will influence our strategic decisions.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing;

  • Contribute to the development of the Residential New Build strategy.

  • Act as the expert advisor on energy-related technologies, such as Future Homes Standard (FHS) and Part L.

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap and ensure alignment with market and customer needs.

  • Identify and seize opportunities to enhance the sales pipeline and improve market access.

  • Lead virtual teams in product development, concept engineering, and management.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation and with third-party partners.

  • Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support commercial decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, financial, and operational standards in product development.

Are we the perfect match?

  • Proven ability to manage complex workloads and high-profile projects.

  • Deep understanding of energy and construction markets, value chains, and policy developments.

  • Successful track record in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing growth strategies across multiple business units.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong capability for solving business challenges and offering robust recommendations.

  • Strong experience in commercial modelling and financial business case development.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and navigate a highly pressurised environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of competitors, propositions, and emerging technologies in the UK energy and construction markets.

It would be great if you had;

  • Previous experience in M&E, Construction, New Build, or Metering sectors.

  • Project management skills.

  • Technical expertise in energy solution technologies for application in UK homes.

Here’s what else you need to know
