Group Summary:

We are seeking motivated Accounts Payable Associates to join our new Shared Service Center team. You will support Magna in optimizing global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, and contributing to the harmonization of AP processes across countries such as Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and Switzerland.

Main Duties

• Process vendor invoices and execute payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to Accounts Payable
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. Procurement, Controlling, HR, IT)
• Contribute to documentation and standardization of AP procedures
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AP transactions

Education

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration

Work Experience

• Initial experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and affinity for numbers
• Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
• Team player with good communication skills
• Structured and independent working style
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Good English skills (written and oral); German or other languages beneficial
