Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis.

The role:
The Ship Direct Coordinator at General Motors de Mexico will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes, ensuring the efficient management of related all material comes to USA for our Mexican dealers coordinating activities to achieve goals and maintain high quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all shipments come USA to Mexican Dealears though FEDEX, land and railroads mode of transportation.
  • Monitor land & air shipments and analyze performance carrier's metrics.
  • Collaborate with warehouse areas, finance, and sales teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and implement best practices.
  • Analize expenses or extra expenses if any that can help to make a decision to reduce the Backorder.
  • Keep in touch with finance team to provide information data basis to analyze the budget results month over month
  • Support claims team under Ship Direct concept
  • Provide ETA´s to the dealers about their materials.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Provide experience and strong understanding International Logistics Processes.
  • Proficiency in using for data excel reports, and office tools
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Internacional Commer or Economic Administrative areas is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment is a plus.
  • Advanced english skills
