Summary:
Under general supervision of the Depot Pharmacist/Depot Manager, oversees the various functions of the deport/warehouse, This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates involved in the depot’s day to day functions.
Assists in the process of selection, training and performance management for the depot associates.
Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications in order to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy for the purpose of improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed.
Oversees the staff working e.g. PH1 teams as well as local function packaging.
Inventory management for local (safety) stock availability by taking appropriate actions in order to meet productivity goals.
Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and applicable country authorities’ regulations.
May interact with customers in resolving issues.
To comply with World Courier Clinical Supply Solutions Standard Operating Procedures and performs related duties as assigned.
Have deep knowledge about all the Depot’s operating procedures in order to assure the quality of the Clinical Supply Solutions procedures.
Organize all depot operating personnel in the daily tasks under the supervision to accomplish the programmed objectives incl. Temp-position.
Act. as a mediator between Depot Manager, Depot Pharmacists, and Depot Logistics staff.
To act as a logistics resources and provide recommendations to the Depot manager and Depot Pharmacists as necessary to implement any procedure changes.
To review all work and assure the performance is completed in accordance with the established procedures.
Maintain a physical and electronic file system in order to provide the Depot Manager/Depot Pharmacists all necessary logistics information.
Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for.

Education:
Logistics Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Normally requires a minimum of three (3) year’s experience in Operations and Logistics related and progressively responsible experience.
Experience in receiving/put away, inventory/ replenishment, pick/ pack process from waving order to completion, booking of transport for cold chain orders for re-refrigerated transport.
Understanding of the sensitivity of handling pharmaceutical products and working with and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures.
Forklift license (Preferred).
Experience in Warehouse Management Systems.
