JLT Public Sector is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will work in our Adelaide Marketing team to coordinate and execute marketing and event activities. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working in the office at least three days per week and is a fixed-term contract until February 2027.
What can you expect?
- Assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining the marketing calendar and plans that align with our business objectives.
- Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing marketing materials, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards.
- Planning and execution of events, providing on-site support and managing logistics.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, processing invoices, and maintaining databases.
- Respond to member inquiries promptly and accurately, delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues to ensure a positive member experience.
- Oversee user management of our member centre and online platforms, ensuring smooth access and providing support to members as needed.
- Coordinating and updating our website content on a frequent basis.

We will count on you to:
- You should possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset are crucial for handling member inquiries effectively and delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Experience with EDM software such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Campaign Monitor.
- Familiarity with AEM for website management and content creation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and techniques is highly desirable.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of marketing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience on website CMS systems.
- A creative mindset and attention to detail.
