Warehouse Operator

Job Summary
Warehouse Operators are responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping goods in accordance to customer orders within set deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
· Receive and check materials against purchase orders and work orders;
· Pick, pack and prepare material for despatch as per customers’ requirements;
· Conduct inventory counts when necessary;
· Adhere to strict safety procedures at all times;
· Ensure all warehousing operations are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet schedules;
· Keep accurate records of stock movements;
· Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors;
· Work safely at all times and adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedures;
· Adhere to good housekeeping practices.

Job Qualifications
· Minimum Grade “O” Level qualification;
· Experience in warehouse environment will be advantageous;
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English (written and verbal);
· Basic computer skills required – MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
· Attention to detail;
· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
· Ability to follow instructions and procedures;
· Good time management skills;
· Strong health and safety awareness.
