The role:
As Account Executive for Mulesoft, you will engage with customers and prospects across Continental EMEA to sell the MuleSoft platform. You build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers, and become natural at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
Requirements:
Develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting, within the UN and its subsidiaries worldwide
Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs
Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources (Salesforce NonProfit Core AE’s, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment
Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives the value proposition of the MuleSoft platform
Define and complete territory/account sales plans for assigned territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales, and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of success in sales, ideally with a software/IT background with an emphasis on customer acquisition and positioning of complex enterprise applications for more than 5 years in a Tech/SaaS environment
Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer.
Effective communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
High motivation, resilience, and ambition to build a career at Salesforce.
Fluent in English, another language is a plus
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Evidence of relationship-building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk-taking, and a drive to succeed.
Industry experience or experience working in a specialist area of technology in the Non-Profit Sector or Public Sector
