Summary: This role focuses on automating and managing Citrix infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices. The engineer will design and implement automation workflows with Ansible, Chef, and AWX, manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub. Collaboration across development, operations, and security teams is key to ensure seamless integration and compliance. Roles & Responsibilities: • Automation Development: Design and implement automation workflows for Citrix infrastructure using Ansible, Chef, and AWX to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments. • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize GitHub Pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of Citrix-related applications and configurations. • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing systems. • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, pipelines, and infrastructure configurations. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation tools, Citrix infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. • Security and Compliance: Ensure all automation practices adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: • Experience: Experience of 5 years in DevOps or a related role, with a focus on infrastructure automation. • Citrix Knowledge: Practical experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including automation of provisioning, scaling, and maintenance tasks. • Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks. • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and managing Citrix workloads. • Version Control: Expertise in using Git and GitHub for source code management and collaboration. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex automation and infrastructure issues. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Technical Expertise: o Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation. o Experience with Chef for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration. o Hands-on knowledge of AWX for managing Ansible workflows at scale. o Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage cloud and on-premises resources. o Proficiency in building and managing GitHub Pipelines for CI/CD processes.
