Will be responsible to work on multiple projects simultaneously, creating system requirements, developing application code, coordinating testing and deployments. Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders including other analysts, development teams, and business line leaders to provide optimized solutions with focus on improving efficiency though automations and modernization. Guide team members by providing thought leadership and development opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to leaders to gain understanding of business requirements; create and build reporting functionalities using different tools like Power BI, Power App, SQL.
  • Drive transformation of existing processes to leverage new tools and technology, and create efficiencies through automations.
  • Hands on development for systems and reports, and end to end solution implementation.
  • Leverage data lake, cloud solutions and associated development tools (e.g. dataIKU, Athena, Python etc.) to deliver analytics and automations. Provide SME expertise in business lines as assigned.
  • Application maintenance and documentation: Author, build, and maintain a knowledge repository to ensure effective Business Continuity purposes. Ensure appropriate documentation for reporting and process improvement, consistent use of tools, and mentor and guide analysts on team. Support legacy systems ad processes as needed.
  • End to end project management: writing requirements/stories, writing test cases, user acceptance testing.
  • Manage automation deliverables, perform quality checks to ensure high quality and accuracy on deliverables.
  • Develop and document data strategies with business partners
  • Drives work prioritization, capacity management, and skill development acceleration for self and other analysts. Provide leadership and technical guidance for analysts on team to ensure business deliverables are met and optimized.
  • Lead by example in analytics and automation delivery, executing on end-to-end solutions leveraging individual and team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in business lines and ensure global team deepens business knowledge and provides thought leadership to anticipate solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of the US financial system, products, services, and regulatory system.
  • People management experience of 3-5 years leading developers and reporting analysts focused on automations.
  • Proficiency in different reporting tools like Power BI, Power App, SQL; Experience with Agile/JIRA.
  • Ability to develop deep understanding of business line data as determined.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to continuously adapt to new tools and technology.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working in financial industry, specifically in supervision, compliance, legal or regulatory.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations based on data received and analyzed.
  • Good to have R Studio knowledge and data lake experience
  • Design Thinking approach to problem solving with business partners as key customer
