Summer Interns for R&D Projects

We are seeking enthusiastic summer interns to join our R&D team and contribute to our engineering projects. This opportunity is ideal for full-time students with a preferably with a documented background in software development and a strong technical interest.

Trimble Danderyd develops and manufactures optical measurement instruments, total stations and scanning total stations, for the surveying and construction markets. Our advanced embedded systems include a variety of different sensor technologies such as servos, cameras, distance-meter, angle-meter, tracking modules as well as communication stacks on a Linux based platform. We also build advanced production stations for our production line

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a technical degree program and preferably with software engineering skills.

  • C/C++, C#, and Python, Linux or Windows environments.

  • Experience with Embedded Systems.

  • Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) or Large Language Models (LLM).

  • Proficiency with modern development tools like GitHub and GitHub Copilot.

• Personal Attributes: General and genuine interest in technology, curious, responsible and structured in your approach to work.

• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly and effectively.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in speaking and writing Swedish is required.
