Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Corrosion Control Technician, where you'll play a vital role in preserving and protecting equipment, structures, and operational assets through inspection, surface preparation, corrosion prevention, and coating application. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of corrosion control processes, and the ability to safely operate specialized tools and equipment. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate closely with team members, and actively contribute to maintaining safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the Corrosion Control Technician, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, and work in confined or elevated spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, are required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes industrial, maintenance, and operational settings with exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, fumes, airborne particles, paint vapors, chemicals, and varying temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Employees may work around heavy equipment, operational vehicles, and active work zones while performing corrosion prevention and coating activities.
