What You Will Do:

The Commercial Director, Managed Services will plan, develop and implement the commercial function for Guidehouse Managed Services (GMS). He/she will be responsible for driving the adoption of outsourcing commercial best practices through each phase of our sales and delivery lifecycle, across all programs. His/her success will be gauged by the effectiveness by which commercial gaps are mitigated across our programs and the rollout of a contract compliance framework all managed services offerings and engagements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, develop and implement the commercial management function for GMS.
  • Develop implementation strategy for roll out of commercial management framework across existing programs and new opportunities, appropriately considering all phases of the opportunity and delivery lifecycle.
  • Establish contract compliance framework and governance approach.
  • Establish appropriate commercial rigor for auto renewal contracts.
  • Establish effective and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Assist with development of pricing and deal structure for new offerings.
  • Establish process for scope changes on contracts to ensure appropriate commercial considerations.
  • Review SLAs and KPIs for all new opportunities and rationalize for commercial viability. Inform pricing approach.
  • Drive high levels of people engagement by maintaining a highly collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Work closely with GMS leaders, Segments and Corporate Functions to drive the adoption of commercial best practices across the entire sales and delivery lifecycle of outsource programs.
  • Establish collaborative working relationships across all GMS stakeholders and client teams.
  • Continually assess commercial management function scalability needs.


What You Will Need:

  • 15+ years' experience with the majority of that experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) as a commercial director or delivery leader.
  • Expertise in establishing a commercial governance framework for BPO.
  • Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Financial Crimes Compliance or Finance & Accounting functions highly preferred
  • Experience in implementing commercial best practices and processes for contract compliance while achieving demonstrated improvement in results.
  • Ability to translate KPIs / SLAs into commercially meaningful thresholds for gauging acceptable/ unacceptable risk of these business process outsourcing programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically or globally as needed (expected travel ~25%).
  • Ability to forge effective working partnerships across all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's Degrees from accredited University or College


What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience driving organizational change / transformation.
  • Experience with use/adoption of automation / AI.

The annual salary range for this position is $155,000.00-$259,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
