This role will support clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with opportunities to expand support to other defense and security-related organizations. The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, and administration of all ServiceNow functionality. Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

What You Will Do:

  • Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
  • Lead the overall architecture design and development of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.
  • Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Serve as the lead technical point of contact for clients on all matters related to ServiceNow.
  • Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform testing.
  • Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

    What You Will Need:

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) and experience serving in an Architect role.
    • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
    • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
    • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
    • Well-rounded technology consulting experience desired, to include ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, and conduct trainings.
    • Experience working in an Agile environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
    • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
    • Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

    What Would Be Nice to Have:

    • Experience with ServiceNow SAP ERP Canvas
    • Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF)
    • Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
    • Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST preferred.
    • Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
    • General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.

    The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
