Product Manager – Salesforce

This role needs a product leader with a keen understanding of market dynamics and strategic thinking, combined with strong communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including peer product managers across different business lines, to help define the vision and deliver AI/ML-powered innovations across SailPoint's portfolio, delivering value for our customers.

What will I be doing? 

  • Closely partner with the business stakeholders and data engineering teams across SailPoint orgs to deliver new functionality as well as to iterate on existing features in third party applications. 

  • Participate in all areas of the product lifecycle from ideation, user research, gathering requirements, to launch readiness 

  • Drive product innovation through feedback from our business stakeholders and IT partners, as well as product analytics and market research 

  • Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand the impact, and gain consensus 

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories 

  • Help define success metrics and measure the impact and results of new solutions 

  • Prioritize features and enhancements with our business stakeholders, focusing on impact, feasibility and compliance 

  • Partner with Salesforce and IT data engineering to develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in a lean/agile environment. Influence product direction across functional IT teams (security, ops, applications infrastructure, etc.) 

  • Maintain roadmap and coordinate adoption of deliverables with other product lines.

  • Manage and refine integrations between Salesforce and integrated systems like Certinia and Ironclad.

  • Oversee configuration, data models, workflows, and automation in partnership with Salesforce admins and developers.

  • Collaborate with Legal teams to streamline contract lifecycle workflows through Ironclad.

  • Work with Sales, RevOps, and Operations to improve quoting, forecasting, and pipeline processes.

  • Champion data quality, security, and compliance across systems

What will I need? 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Salesforce Product Owner, working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams 

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business processes (quote‑to‑cash, contract lifecycle, financial operations).

  • Previous Salesforce implementation, enhancement, and modification experience required.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, opportunities, workflows, and validations.

  • Previous experience in a product management environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability, and confidence, to communicate and land messages across both technical, and non-technical, audiences 

  • Experience with Salesforce and CPQ, working with business stakeholders and technical teams to solve business problems

  • Experience managing enterprise SaaS products in a rapidly growing industry 

  • Demonstrable success working in a data-driven, outcome-oriented environment using frameworks like OKRs (objectives and key results) 

  • Demonstrated success in working with user experience and engineering teams to research, plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise SaaS products 

  • Proven experience working with product marketing, marketing, and sales to successfully launch new products and enhancements to the market 

  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills 

Preferred but not required: 

  • BA/BS in computer science information systems or related field 

  • Background working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Direct experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) — PSA, Billing, Revenue Management, or Accounting modules.(Preferred)

  • Experience implementing or managing Ironclad workflows and integrations.(Preferred)

Base salary will be $120,000-$130,000.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$86,200 - $123,100 - $160,000

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
