The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for establishing architecture, design and development to support multiple Risk Governance projects in Citi Risk and Controls
•Interface with clients to understand business requirements and provide solutions
•Implement web applications using tools like Angular, Java, Oracle, Kafka etc.
•Lead and manage the teams at offshore (India) and coordination with Onshore team.
Qualifications
•5+ years of application architecture, design and development experience
•5+ years experience with leading and managing small teams in India locations
•5+ years experience working with Agile scrum methodologies. Active certification preferred.
•8+ years experience with databases like Oracle, SQLServer and MS Excel.
•5+ years experience with UI technologies like Angular and/or Backend programming Java/SpringBoot.
•Experience with source code management tools such as SVN, Git/Bit-bucket
•Experience with Big-data technologies and data analytics frameworks is a plus.
Competencies:
•Experience in leading and managing small teams including offshore resources
•Strong technical skills including troubleshooting, analytical thinking and good understanding of data visualization techniques
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently
