Position Summary
CVS Health is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our leadership Benefits Verification team. Qualified candidates will be considered eligible to work from home but must live within a 75 miles from Orlando, Florida site.

The primary responsibility of the Benefits Verification Supervisor is to supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department, and to provide direction to the staff within Pharmacy operations to ensure to ensure patient benefits are verified in accordance to the company guidelines and that patient expectations are met to achieve exceptional customer service and business profitability.

In order to be successful in this role you’ll analyze call/performance statistics and daily workflow to ensure that all production and quality goals are met, coordinate procedural changes, resolve issues/problems as it relates to the department and the company. In regards to the team you’ll be supervising, you will evaluate and review their progress, coach, motivate & counsel staff including administering disciplinary action when necessary. To support the management team you’ll be involved in interviewing and hiring, directing and implementing department and pharmacy wide projects. You should use your previous supervisory, organizational and production environment skills to be successful in this position.

**May be required to go on site for - round table/focus group discussions/side by side observations/new hire training classes**

Schedule Details

  • Hours of Operation - Mon-Fri 7:30-7:30pm EST
  • Weekend rotation
  • Coverage for overtime and major holidays
  • 1 Day a week late shift - 11am-7:30pm EST


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a related environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Benefits Verification experience
  • Bachelor's Degree within Business, Management or Healthcare related field.


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $76,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
