Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed clusters)
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Helm charts.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Practical knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps principles
• Familiarity with observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience with real‑time data pipelines and stream processing using Kafka, Schema Registry, and Kafka Connect.

Key Responsibilities

• Helm Chart Development:

              Design, build, and maintain reusable Helm charts for deploying microservices and infrastructure components in Kubernetes.

• Kubernetes Operations:

              Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters across environments (development, staging, production).

• Automation & Deployment:

              Automate CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

              Use Terraform, Helm, and related tools to define, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.

• System Observability:

              Set up monitoring, logging, and tracing (e.g., with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Loki, OpenTelemetry) to ensure system reliability.

• Incident Response:

              Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaboration:

              Work closely with development teams to ensure application reliability, define SLIs/SLOs, and promote SRE best practices.

• Security & Compliance:

              Integrate security best practices into all systems, especially around Kubernetes and CI/CD.
