Job Description
Job Purpose:
To support in managing the organization’s cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity, and financial risk exposures. The role involves daily cash management, bank reconciliations, investment of surplus funds, foreign exchange management, and enhancing treasury operations efficiency and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash & Liquidity Management
Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly).
Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational and capital requirements.
Manage intercompany fund transfers and settlements.
Identify and invest surplus cash in approved instruments.
Banking & Payment Operations
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Oversee bank account openings, maintenance, mandates, and documentation.
Review and approve payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Ensure timely processing of payroll, supplier, and statutory payments.
Foreign Exchange & Risk Management
Assist in identifying and managing FX exposures.
Support the execution of hedging strategies (forward contracts, options, etc.).
Track performance of hedges and ensure proper documentation for audit/tracking.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare treasury reports for management (e.g., cash position, FX exposure, bank charges).
Assist in month-end closing including reconciliation of bank statements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits related to treasury functions.
Treasury Systems & Process Improvement
Enhance automation and efficiency in treasury operations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., bank charges, interest income optimization).
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTP, CFA) are an advantage.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in finance or treasury roles, preferably in a corporate or MNC environment.
Familiarity with banking platforms, treasury systems, and ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of financial instruments and banking products.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheet and financial modeling.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
