Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM-various end times
Hourly Rate: $22.19 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Position Responsibilities:
- Must be able to communicate well with others and understand team concept
- Must understand and follow all GMP’s for producing quality product
- Must be able to follow and understand production schedule
- Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules
- Assist the team with minor change-over aspects
- Will perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work within time constraints and under pressure
- Must be able to multitask (under possible short staffing conditions)
- Other duties as assigned
Operator must perform all above and below duties.
- Must be able to assemble and operate high speed equipment, including but not limited to Handtmanns, Batter Mixer, Freezer, Former, Fryer.
- Must be able to perform all duties such as Line Checks, Centerline Audits, Tool Inspection forms, CCP3 forms etc.
- Responsible for recording of specific information in Infinity
- Responsible for adhering to Quality Assurance standards and Infinity - computerized weight control
- Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line
- Responsible for staging changeover parts prior to changeover and returning changeover parts to changeover parts cart
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Note: After being a certified operator for 6 Months and meeting the criteria following the curriculum, you will be eligible to work towards a Tech 1 level, up to Tech 2.
Skills and Experience:
- Any previous manufacturing experience will be preferred
- Ability to complete basic math computation
- Understanding of weights and measurements
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED – required
