We are seeking a San Antonio based International Client Service Analyst to join our International Client Services in Global Technology & Operations.
Team/Group Description
The International Client Service Team specializes in the support of international AB Sales, Product and the back offices of our retail, retirement, and insurance intermediaries. The member of this team will field inquiries from internal and external clients and work on tasks, projects and issues as needed. The team also supports trading and reporting for the National Securities Clearing Corporation and Canadian FundServ platforms.
What you'll do:
The International Client Service Analyst is a key role for our firm providing service and support to our internal and external clients such as the back offices of the international and intermediaries and wholesalers selling our international funds.

This person will be responsible for providing service and support to our internal and external clients such as the back offices of the international and intermediaries and wholesalers selling our international funds. The best candidate for this position will possess outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills and have a strong level of knowledge regarding operations. This person will be responsible for other functions held within this team such as NSCC and CFS reject processing, special reporting, audit reviews, daily administrative reporting and any other tasks assigned. This person will use applications and websites such as CORFAX, Intl AWD, the NSCC, Canadian FundSERV, SharePoint, EXCEL, ACCESS and other applications that may be needed to perform daily responsibilities.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Liaison between Dealer back office, Dealer Sales reps, AB sales force, and ABIS Operations.
• Manage open items and provide specialized support to intermediaries as needed. Create and maintain of daily trade confirmations to assigned firms as needed.
• Coordinate the processing of trades, corrections and other account activity as needed.
• Process NSCC & Canadian FundSERV rejects.
• Establish, maintain, and update Dealer Profiles.
• Develop and present information related to AB International initiatives and funds.
• Handle Dealer and AB sales force service inquiries and problem resolution.
• Monitor for trends from intermediaries and other internal clients such as ABI sales force.
• Prepare procedure documentation as needed.
• Support monthly MAR reporting.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed, based on department requirements
The person in this diverse and fast-paced role will be exposed to a wide scope of business within our firm. He or she will be encouraged to be entrepreneurial and will be given the autonomy to manage and develop the client relationships assigned.
The person in this role will have an opportunity to develop skills such as time management, project planning, relationship development, problem solving and communication. This person will be exposed to many areas within our firms and will become familiar with the processes of various groups over time.
What we're looking for:
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years mutual fund operations or related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
Preferred skills:
Professional, personable, and responsible in manner.
Organized, thorough, and conscientious. Establishes priorities and follows through on tasks to completion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team setting.
Knowledge of mutual funds, financial or business operations including: banking, securities
