An opportunity has just opened in our Sun Life Singapore  team where you take on a growth role within the Partnership division. Reporting to the Director, Partnership Development, you will be charged with channel management, development of business and identifying new partners. You will be working on marketing initiatives, product benchmarking and participate in various projects across the organization.

This role offers an excellent career growth trajectory to gain rare and valuable experience in the Affluent, HNW and UHNW segment as well as broad experience across different departments/divisions.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has excellent communication skills, outstanding emotional intelligence, able to deal with ambiguity, highly independent, dedicated to creating WOW outcomes and strong desire to stretch yourself.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop existing partnerships as well as identifying new business partners and opportunities.
  • Understand who our business partners are and how we support them in order to facilitate the sales and distribution of our Affluent, HNW & UHNW insurance solutions.
  • Drive sales activity management through intermediaries and collaborate closely with internal functions (Underwriting, Operations, Pricing) to provide a 'best in class' experience.
  • Conceptualize and develop impactful events, campaigns and propositions so as to position Sun Life as the leading Affluent, HNW & UHNW insurer.
  • Analyze competitor product solutions, sales business mix to create meaningful narratives to support new product ideation, improvements and/or to spot business opportunities .
  • Work travelling required.

Requirements:

  • University degree preferred
  • At least 5 - 8 years of experience client-facing or business/product management roles.
  • Experience in insurance, bank, asset management or financial services industry advantageous
  • Candidates with very strong influencing and relationship building/management skills will be highly valued.
  • Independent & proactive, able to work in a lean team and collaborate with others when required.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, bilingual.
  • Creative, good judgment and excellent attention to details
  • Intermediate skills in Excel & Power-point
