The Workday Education team crafts and delivers engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of Workday’s unified solution. The Operations, Programs, and Support team handles the infrastructure, systems, tools, and programs that support Education’s global business. Our primary purpose is to build an excellent student and instructor experience globally. Our Engineering team plays a meaningful role within the organization. 5+ years of general development experience required.
4+ with web development including Javascript, HTML, CSS, React and server-side programming.
Experience with Bash, Python, AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS API Gateway.
4+ years of professional experience in project management principles including requirements definition, gap analysis and implementation.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) (Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business Systems preferable).
Proven ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.
Experience with one or more of the following preferred: Linux, Cypress, Docker, CI/CD, Networking, Server Maintenance.
Proven track record to lead and contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, constantly evolving and sometimes unexpected work environment, prioritizing accordingly.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills both technically and functionally. Shown ability to proactively and quickly grasp, distill and synthesize concepts and details from diverse sources, identify trends, develop strategies, and implement high-impact solutions.
Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including consistent track record of designing and delivering engaging, outcome-based presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
AWS certifications are highly desirable.
