This position reports to:
Procurement Manager__
As a Global Procurement Supply Chain Data Expert, you will be the primary point of contact for global reporting, monitoring, and KPI management within Global Procurement. By leveraging advanced analytics and standardized dashboards, you will enable transparency, and support data-driven procurement decisions on a global scale.
Core responsibilities:
Establish and continuously develop gold-standard reporting and monitoring to ensure transparency and enable data-driven decision-making across the supply chain
Collect, analyze, interpret, and continuously monitor supply chain and procurement data across low to high levels of complexity
Design, implement, and maintain global, easy-to-use standard dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) serving as a single source of truth
Define, further develop, and track KPIs to effectively steer supply chain and procurement performance
Assess, harmonize, and consolidate existing ABB and B&R data sources, reports, and dashboards
Ensure high data quality and actively contribute to data governance and continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare, visualize, and communicate reports to relevant internal stakeholders; standardize and automate recurring reports
Represent Global Procurement in cross-functional projects as a technical data expert; consolidate and provide data in the required format, structure, and quality
Key requirements:
Several years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Information Systems, combined with a strong technical understanding
Completed higher commercial or technical education (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable field) is preferred but not mandatory
Solid foundation and hands-on experience with SAP MM and Power BI
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to compile, structure, analyze, and present large and complex data sets with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong capability to critically evaluate data and translate it into meaningful, actionable business insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data topics for non-technical audiences
Strong English communication skills; proficiency in German is an advantage
