We have an exciting vacancy for a 3 year ECVS residency programme commencing in November 2024 (ECVS programme requirements for College registration and qualification can be found on their website). The successful candidate will join a team of referral surgeons (including four Diplomats, one third year surgery resident and a surgery intern) and work in collaboration with dedicated orthopaedic and soft tissue nursing teams, including out of hours responsibilities at weekends, weeknights and bank holidays.

Linnaeus Veterinary Limited also facilitates a highly collaborative approach between their hospitals and colleagues to facilitate these elements.  

 

Requirements 

  • Completion of a 12-month Surgical Internship (or demonstrable equivalent) at a referral hospital  (preferable)

  • Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
