The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Production Planner role will make an impact:
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Review forecast information and customer orders on SAP and develop supply plans to meet these demands
Develop schedules by work centre ensuring optimized use of available capacity
Maintain the MRP data on SAP for assigned products and areas
Support the preparation of the site Sales & Operations Planning Process
Prepare supply chain metrics on a weekly basis
Chair routine and ad hoc planning and scheduling meetings as required, communicating changes and additions to production chedules
Create and maintain Master Data on SAP
Proactively complete monthly obsolesce inventory review, classify potential risk and identify opportunities to minimize obsolescence
Identify opportunities to optimize SAP functionality and reporting
Contribute to the Strategic development of the planning function and support continuous improvement efforts using Lean and Six Sigma principles
Support and execute any other duties as assigned
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
2+ years Supply Chain experience in a high volume, fast paced Manufacturing environment
Knowledge in SAP strong advantages
Strong skills in MS Office® Suite, especially Excel, is required
Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts
Experience interacting and building effective relationships at different levels within organization
Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment
Good communication and time management skills
