Objective of the position:

Analyze, develop, implement, maintain and support software, data and automation solutions for Maintenance and Production areas.

The position supports plant operations by integrating web platforms, databases, PLC/HMI/SCADA information, industrial networks and OT systems to improve safety, equipment availability, machine efficiency, traceability and data visibility.

The role ensures that local and corporate solutions are aligned with plant standards, automation standards, cybersecurity requirements and operational needs.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

  • PLC/HMI/SCADA basic-intermediate knowledge: Allen-Bradley, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View and/or
  • Software development: C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
  • Databases and data integration: SQL, DB2, historian/data acquisition, reporting and backups.
  • Industrial networks and OT systems: EtherNet/IP, IP addressing, managed switches, device diagnostics and OT cybersecurity basics.
  • English level: B1
  • Spanish level: C2

Main Functions:

  • Analyze, develop, implement and maintain web/data platforms for Maintenance and Production, including applications, reports, dashboards and interfaces connected to plant OT systems.
  • Support automation systems by troubleshooting, maintaining and improving PLC, HMI, SCADA and data acquisition interfaces in coordination with Controls, Maintenance and Production teams.
  • Maintain databases, production data sources, backups, application servers and interfaces to ensure data availability, traceability and continuity of plant systems.
  • Support industrial communication and automation networks used by applications and equipment, including device connectivity, IP documentation, diagnostics and escalation with IT/OT teams.
  • Define technical requirements with Maintenance, Production, Manufacturing, IT and Corporate teams; document solutions, user manuals, work instructions and support procedures
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, Industry 4.0 tools and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with local/corporate standards and cybersecurity constraints.
