Primary Function

Maintain and supervise the continuation of productive operations of the plant. Coordinates activities for the achievement of the required volumes of production, ensuring the supply of raw material, within the parameters of performance, quality and productivity established, watching the equipment correct maintained and operating facilities in accordance with the rules of safety, hygiene, and environmental protection necessary.

  • Safety and Environmental protection– Monitor and ensure the compliance of them rules and procedures of security, hygiene, and protection environmental, to safeguard the health of the personal and the conservation of equipment e facilities. As well as follow up on plans and programs of safety of your department.

  • Quality – Ensure product meets customers’ evolving expectations.  Communicate quality standards and expectations to all operations employees.
  • Ensure all production activities are performed in accordance with all ISO and GMP requirements.

  • Production – Monitor and ensure compliance of production volumes required by sales, in accordance with established programmes and maintaining performance and quality parameters, verifying, and checking deliveries of finished product.

Agility and  Innovation

  • Supports continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Ensures team adaptability, flexibility, and readiness to change.

Relationships

and People

  • Assist in the performance appraisal process for all operational crew members.        
  • Maintain and promote the proper production personnel working environment always looking for staff interest in meeting production schedules.
  • Share good practices with other plants and areas.
  • Leads negotiations with internal customers.
  • Promotes continuous development in team and self.
  • Reinforce the communication across other areas to update the knowledge between areas.

Knowledge, Skills,

and Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Cchemistry, similar o related
  • 3 years of experience in Production areas
  • Microsoft Office user
  • Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
  • English.
