At Sandvik Mining, we are searching for a Compliance Officer, Ground Support Division to support our global compliance framework and promote responsible, sustainable business conduct.

The compliance program consists of Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Trade Compliance, Data Privacy, Competition, and our Speak Up program. You support us with both strategic initiatives and hands-on activities, ensuring the development of a solid compliance culture and robust processes throughout our organization.  The ideal candidate is energetic, persistent, and proactive, with a strong business mindset and the ability to translate compliance into practical, value-adding solutions.

Location: flexible location in one of our entities, ability to work within European working hours.

Sandvik Division Ground Support provides comprehensive mining, excavation, rock processing, and metal-cutting solutions through innovation, digitalization, and sustainable engineering. Our offerings include advanced ground support products like injection chemicals and resins, meeting rigorous technical standards for soft and hard-rock mining applications. We embrace cutting-edge technologies such as connectivity and digital twins to enhance operational efficiencies and achieve cost savings globally. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Drive and promote a strong compliance culture across Ground Support.
  • Develop, promote, implement and maintain compliance standards and procedures that enable employees and the business to act in a compliant manner.
  • Deliver training and communications to support the implementation of the compliance program.
  • Deliver specialized compliance guidance and comprehensive assistance to the organization, collaborating effectively with the Mining Business Area Compliance team.
  • Conduct compliance reviews to monitor and ensure the effectiveness of the compliance program.
  • Coordinate the completion of ESG and sustainability questionnaires together with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support compliance related projects and M&A activities
  • Support compliance‑related investigations, documentation, and remediation activities.

What we are looking for: 

  • A degree in Law, Business, Finance, Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in compliance (preferably in global international organisation).
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, other languages are a plus.
  • Strong strategic and innovation thinking, coupled with strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving mentality.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships and create a strong network with various stakeholders.
  • Strong multitasking skills and stress resistance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Enjoys working with multicultural teams.
