We have an immediate need for a Logistics Associate to join our Logistics Team. In this role, you will primarily work in the Logistics department packing and preparing product and materials to be shipped to customers and suppliers; as well as working in the Receiving area to process new shipments arriving in the facility. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

What You Will Do

  • Support daily logistics operations by packing and preparing products and materials for shipment to customers and suppliers, and assisting in the Receiving area with processing incoming deliveries.
  • Handle a wide range of materials, including delicate optical components and larger or heavier items, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and protection standards are maintained.
  • Perform duties in a physically active environment that requires standing, movement, and manual handling for extended periods.
  • Follow established work instructions and operational procedures, and support the development or improvement of work instructions where required.
  • Accurately process logistics, shipping, and inventory transactions within the enterprise resource planning system

Qualification You Must Have

  • High school diploma required; post secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field is considered an asset.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment handling materials and supporting shipping and receiving activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems; experience with ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process inventory transactions and manage materials in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to perform physically active work, including standing for extended periods and safely handling a range of materials.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and internal EHS policies

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a centralized logistics function supporting consistent processes and material flow across multiple manufacturing docks or departments.

The salary range for this role is 47,000 CAD - 84,000 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
