We are seeking a results-driven SAP Data Migration Manager with proven experience in planning, designing, and delivering data migration for complex SAP transformation programs. To ensure success in this role, you should have deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures, legacy system landscapes, ETL tools and methodologies, as well as data quality and reconciliation practices. You bring the ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into robust migration strategies and plans. An accomplished Data Migration Manager will be someone whose expertise results in accurate, timely and high-quality data migration that underpins successful SAP go-lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support commercial activities related to data migration (proposals, estimations, migration approach, client presentations and orals).

• Define and own the end-to-end data migration strategy and roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and associated solutions, aligned with overall program plans.

• Conduct data migration assessments of legacy landscapes (SAP and non-SAP), including source systems, data volumes, data quality and constraints.

• Design the target data migration architecture, including extraction, transformation and load (ETL), tools, automation and data quality controls.

• Define migration objects, scope, waves and cutover strategy, coordinating closely with functional, technical and business teams.

• Lead data quality improvement initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, enrichment and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders.

• Drive issue and risk management within the data migration stream, including mitigation plans and escalation where necessary.

• Contribute to and leverage standard methodologies, templates, accelerators and tools for data migration.

• Keep abreast of SAP and market innovations in data migration (e.g., SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BTP, cloud data platforms, automation/accelerators)

Necessary Knowledge / Skills:

• Several years of hands-on data migration experience in SAP programs, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA or large ECC migration as a lead or manager.

• Experience with data migration tools and technologies, such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, SAP Data Services, SAP BTP-based tools, or leading ETL/MDM platforms.

• Solid knowledge of data migration methodologies and best practices: strategy, governance, mapping, transformation, testing, reconciliation and cutover.

• Proven ability to analyze and profile data, define transformation rules, and drive data quality improvements in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Experience working with or alongside SAP MDG and/or data governance frameworks is a strong plus.

• Demonstrable experience in leading cross-functional and distributed teams (onshore/offshore) and managing budgets, scope and timelines.

• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, including running workshops, gathering requirements and presenting to senior management.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing multiple waves and deadlines.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
