Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Full Stack Engineer to guide the team responsible for the stability, performance, and reliability of Project Iris, Comcast’s next generation GIS based CAD platform for broadband network design. Iris is a core strategic system within AeGIS, the CONNECT organization that builds the tools enabling the construction, improvement, and long term evolution of Comcast’s nationwide access network. The system supports the planning and design of more than one million miles of coax and fiber infrastructure, and integrates automation capabilities that reduce design cycle time and cost.Job Description
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for diagnosing, triaging, and resolving production issues across the full stack. You will own root‑cause analysis of complex system behaviors and design forward‑looking solutions that improve system scalability, robustness, and availability. You will mentor engineers, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvements in code quality, observability, and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to guide a team through ambiguity, complex technical challenges, and high‑priority production scenarios. Expertise across the Iris stack—Node.js, Unity3D/C#, MongoDB—as well as deep understanding of broadband network architecture is essential.
