We are looking for an experienced  Veterinary Technician looking to take their skills and education to the next level. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with rooming patients, assisting in surgery, administering and dispensing medications prescribed by the veterinarian, drawing blood and running bloodwork, familiar with laboratory equipment, experience with x-rays and proper positioning, placing IV catheters, capitalizing on client education, and understands the importance of being a supportive and positive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing, and Animal Doctors of South Tampa encourage and support their staff to do the same. Requirements

• 2+ years of veterinary experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Compassionate towards our patients and clients
• Can multi-task efficiently
• Willing to continue their education
